Meet Liz

Liz is a physiotherapist and pilates instructor who specialises in pelvic floor rehabilitation in Bristol. She is HCPC, CSP, and POGP registered and is the Director of Alma Physiotherapy Ltd since 2019.

Liz has worked in France, the NHS and pitch-side for numerous sports teams. She is experienced in treating sporting injuries, helping mums get back to running, Pelvic Girdle Pain, Diastasis Recti Abdominis, preparing for birth, pelvic pain and supporting post-surgery rehabilitation.

Before diving into pelvic health, she had a background in ski instructing, pilates, biochemistry, massage and sports physiotherapy. Having worked in France and the UK as a physiotherapist after qualifying with a Master's from King's College London, she noticed the stark difference in pelvic health and women's health. This led her to set up Alma Physiotherapy!

Liz teaches at Bump to Cradle antenatal class, and teaches Year 2 Midwife students at the University of the West of England Bristol (UWE). In her spare time she loves music gigs, surfing and lifting weights.
